This is the latest addition to the Bell & Ross BR-05 family. The case is of black, micro blasted ceramic and measures 42 mm in diameter. It is rated to 300 meters of water resistance.

This is the latest diver from Bell & Ross. The case is ceramic and measures 42 mm. The movement is listed as Calibre BR-CAL.302-1, which I believe is based on Sellita's SW300-1 per the folks at Caliber Corner.

This is limited to 500 pieces, and is priced at $5,200.

The dial's main plate is crafted from aventurine, the Earth holding down the central axis, the floating Mars denotes the hours, with the Moon indicating the minutes. And for my fellow children of the 70s and 80s, the satellite does not necessarily represent Skylab prior to its return to Earth ; )

The BR-05 CHRONO PATROUILLE DE FRANCE

Based on the BR-05 which Bell & Ross also refers to as part of its Urban collection, the BR-05 CHRONO PATROUILLE DE FRANCE offers a wonderful contrast from the ice blue of the main dial to the deep blue chrono registers (at 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock), white numbers and hour markers offset by the deep blue minute/second trail around the main dial.

This is the fourth Bell & Ross / Patrouille de France collaboration. It is limited to 500 pieces and is currently available for pre-order with a projected delivery date in February.

The dial is a scaled down, wrist-bound interpretation of the Altitude Indicator (or artificial horizon). A crucial gauge, per Wikipedia:

The attitude indicator (AI), formerly known as the gyro horizon or artificial horizon, is a flight instrument that informs the pilot of the aircraft orientation relative to Earth's horizon, and gives an immediate indication of the smallest orientation change.
