Today's topic is accuracy. You may recall an earlier post about the Night Shift where I said something to the effect that accuracy was not the point of this watch. Well, despite the idea that the one hand dial is meant to de-emphasize the exact nature of time, I am here to report to one and all that this watch is very, very accurate! Today I decided to check with an independent time source at 6:00 AM - no deviation! The watch is powered by an ETA self-winding movement - the same that you might find in any one of hundreds of different watch companies. So it must be more than just the movement. It must be something that the folks at DEFAKTO are doing... taking the care in their work to ensure a top-rate time keeper.
