These two models are to have their debut at the SIHH in a weeks' time.  Limited to 88 pieces in each version, the piece above is crafted of pink gold. It measures 42 mm in diameter, and is 16.06 mm thick.  Water resistant to 30 meters.

The Aventicum is available in 2 different versions, per Christope Claret -

Aventicum is available in two limited editions: 68 pieces in 5N red gold and anthracite PVD-treated, grade 5 titanium; and 38 pieces in palladium-rich white gold and anthracite PVD-treated, grade 5 titanium.

And Then There Were...

TWENTYFOUR!

Today the SIHH announced the addition of 8 new participants for the 2016 edition -

H. Moser & Cie, Hautlence, Christophe Claret, HYT, Laurent Ferrier, Kari Voutilainen, MB&F and Urwerk are all slated to join the roster and will be making up some of the space previously used by Ralph Lauren who are sitting this one out while they restructure.

It is indeed going to be interesting to see how this all plays out.  Not so long ago the feeling was that the SIHH event was all but dead, catering only to Richemont.  But now with new brands coming in, it will be interesting to see how it develops.  It further begs the question as to whether brands like H. Moser & Cie., Hautlence and the others will "double-down" and participate in BaselWorld as well.

So let's see what January has in store!

In one of the briefer tenures experienced lately, Wolfgang Sickenberg will be moving on from Christophe Claret.

Not long on "warm and fuzzy" here is the scoop straight from the source -

Mr. Christophe Claret announces that Mr. Wolfgang Sickenberg, CEO of the Christophe Claret brand, will leave the company late April 2015 to explore new managerial responsibilities within the watch industry.
 
Mr. Wolfgang Sickenberg has contributed to the development of the Christophe Claret brand over the last 18 months, during which time he has worked with professionalism and commitment to the development of the brand, improving global distribution, and reorganizing the company's internal structure.
 
On behalf of all the Christophe Claret team, Mr. Christophe Claret would like to thank Mr. Wolfgang Sickenberg for his contribution to the brand and wishes him all the best in his professional career.
 
Mr. Christophe Claret will take over as CEO, with Mr. Nicolas Gigaud managing commercial operations.

Now it is entirely possible that this was always going to be a "temp" gig and that Mr. Sickenberg was called upon to reorganize things and move on.  And it also might be that he has been lured somewhere else even more "notable" - so we shall wait and we shall see.
