From Tag Heuer.
Just when you think you know a brand, what they put out, what the next thing will be... they surprise you!
These are the brand new 2015 AQUARACER offerings from Tag Heuer - the 300M Ceramic Bezel in both 41 & 43 mm versions.
There are, of course, the more traditional offerings such as this version above with a blue dial and bezel. The bracelet is basic, simple and the perfect pairing. A screw down case back and crown ensure water resistance to 300 meters (1000 feet). Tag's Calibre 5 drives this time only dive machine, and the unidirectional ratcheting bezel ensures you will not "overstay" your welcome in the briny deep ; )
This is THE SHIT THAT KILLED ELVIS!

But as I said, sometimes you get something a little surprising, something that you didn't see coming and this is what caught my eye this morning -

I LOVE the contrast! And the strap really balances the watch as a whole. It is not necessarily what you would expect, but that is what makes it (at least to me) so special. Tag Heuer's Calibre 16 sets the pace. The crown is large and easy to grip, and the push pieces solid and tactile. I suspect that this one is going to cause me some sleepless nights!
So, I for one look forward to seeing these a little more "up close and personal" but if the images are anything to go on, Tag Heuer has a winner with these new versions.
