Final day with the Soleure

Another brief affair of the heart is now coming to an end.  I have one more day with the Eterna Soleure before it must board its return flight to Grenchen.  I thought that I would spare you my less than fantastic photos so you could see this wonderful watch in its best light.

After nearly fifteen days, we are back to + 3 seconds of deviation.

Movement: ETA Valjoux calibre 7751; self-winding mechanical movement with chronograph functions; 48-hour power reserve; 28,800 vph; 25 jewels; diameter 30 mm (13 1/4 lines), hours, minutes and seconds, date, day of the week, month and moonphase display.

Dial/hands: silver or black, rhodium-plated or gold-coloured baton hour markers; black minute track and date indication; rhodium-plated or gold-coloured centred hour and minute coated with white luminous material; rhodium-plated or gold-coloured centred date with red sickle; rhodium-plated or gold-coloured centered chronograph seconds; rhodium-plated or gold coloured 30-minute totaliser at 12 o’clock; rhodium-plated or gold-coloured continuous seconds and 24-hour display coated with white luminous material at 9 o’clock; moon phase calendar at 6 o’clock.

Case/back: round-shaped polished stainless steel case; anti-reflective, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal; case back secured by 4 screws; water-resistant to 50 m (5 bar) / ~ 165 feet; diameter 42 mm; height 13.2 mm.

Bracelet/clasp: brown, black or white Louisiana alligator leather strap with polished stainless steel folding clasp or polished and satin-finished stainless steel bracelet with folding clasp.
