Sometimes you need some distance, some perspective before you can really decide what your favorite watch at BaselWorld was. For me there were a few, and although I've never been a father, I understand the challenge in picking a favorite out of several.
Yes, the Nomos Club Campus is AMAZING! It is a wonderful watch at a good price.
And Zenith's new 38 mm Chronomaster Heritage 146 was a joy as well -
But perhaps the one that hit me at the most basic, the most visceral level was one of the new offerings from Bell & Ross -
This is the BRV2-94 Black Steel
This one was a sucker punch right to the part of the brain that functions only on feeling. Now don't get me wrong, the rational side will get it too, but this one knocked the wind out of me - in the best possible way ; )
