So a confession. I have tried for YEARS to get a BaselWorld appointment with Sinn. And this year, thanks to Bhanu of Watchuseek, I finally got to go beyond the "pvd rope"!
And yes, there were some pretty swell watches -
An updated version of the U1 - 44 mm of German "submarine steel" is crafted to house the self winding movement.
For those of you spec obsessed, here are the pertinents on the U1's case, straight from SINN:

This is the 103 St Sa E, and it is the Shit That Killed Elvis!
This watch spoke to me. And what it literally said, albeit in German, was that it wanted to move to Boston!
This is limited to 300 pieces, and I suspect will be sold out quickly as it was one of the most talked about watches for many of us.
So here is the complete set of information, and then, forget about this watch, you don't want it! Forget that you saw this! There are only 300 and you want James Henderson to get one...
Okay, that probably didn't work. So if you get one, treasure it! It is FANTASTIC!
