Perhaps the best part about writing this blog, is giving credit where it is due. And today I got word that Santa Clause was again at work.
Now myself, I like the cut and thrust. I think that life is a long road, and you have to take the rough with the smooth. And just recently, Jean-Claude Biver did something that I think he and Tag Heuer deserve some very, very real praise -
The thrust of this press release was meant to be about the new partnership between Tag and Chris Hemsworth. And for those out there who follow these sorts of things, sure enough, that was news.
But - I have noticed an interesting trend that has followed Mr. Biver over the past six months or so - he is going out of his way to make charitable donations either on his own behalf or on behalf of the brands (Tag Heuer & Hublot).
And the trend continues - Tag Heuer donated a NOT insubstantial amount of 60,000 Australian dollars to the Australian Childhood Foundation!!!
That is US equivalent of $42'500 USD - think about that for a moment. That is a HUGE thing.
I think credit should be given where credit is due - and Mr. Biver and Tag Heuer deserve VERY REAL praise.
So shines a good deed in a weary world.
Thank you Tag Heuer - and THANK YOU Jean-Claude Biver.
