From Graham -
Graham makes a lot of interesting watches, but if I am completely honest I have not really seen one that I felt was "me" - until now.
With their new Silverstone RS GMT Graham has finally struck the long awaited (by me at least) balance between "edgy" and something I might wear regularly.
The case is 46 mm and is of stainless steel. Before you think that there is nothing "edgy", take note of the red aluminum flyback/reset button at 4 o'clock.
This is a chronograph with GMT functionality and something particularly appreciated by old farts like myself - a big date at 6 o'clock. But this is Graham, so you get a little fun, the skeletonized dial reveals the "wheels within wheels" of the watch itself.
The color choices are very, very welcome as well. Instead of the sometimes jarring green, red or yellow, softer shades of brown and tan caress the red and black. Globetrotting is hard enough on the body, there is no need to make it hard on the eyes and with the Silverstone RS GMT Graham has offered something that the traveller's world weary eyes will welcome.
So here are the basics:
46 mm case, stainless steel, sapphire crystals "front and back".
The calibre is the G1721 which is an automatic chronograph, with 48 hours of power reserve. Hours, minutes, seconds, big date, chronograph and GMT/second time zone.
The strap is described as being quilted beige leather with beige stitching. It is secured with a folding buckle of stainless steel.
