The "Not-so-Briny" Deep - with Gucci

One of my all-time favorite watch stories is the meeting of Severin Wunderman met the Guccis.  Right place, right time - nearly ended in a fist fight!  And while Mr. Wunderman did get Gucci watches going, in fairness I think that the real steps forward have happened under the stewardship of Mr. Sofisti.  While he has moved on, his influence can be seen on this most recent release -

This group of watches joins the expanding dive watch collection, and I must say that I like it.

Solid, sturdy - but very striking at the same time.  Powered by a Swiss ETA quartz movement, they are strong and rugged - but very clearly Gucci.
