When we think of Citizen, we tend to "hamstring" ourselves into lumping as:
Inexpensive Japanese quartz - not to to be taken too seriously by true watch lovers.
That essentially underscores the ease with which we dismiss some really cool things without ever even looking at them. But with that said, Citizen is keeping it as real as everyone else. While they are developing some truly cool things in terms of technological advances, they still have some pretty nifty mechanical/self-winding watches in the stable.
This is the Grand Touring Sport from the folks at Citizen.
The Movement is Citizen's Automatic 9012. The case is 44 mm in diameter, and constructed of stainless steel with a display back. Water resistant to 999 feet.
And the price is quite reasonable at $1,195.
