So if you had plans for this coming Friday, you might want to change them! Kurono Tokyo will be opening orders for the latest very limited edition, a GMT!

The Kurono Tokyo GMT 1 features, you guessed it - a GMT function. And while a GMT function is highly useful, I have to say that it is the overall look of the watch that strikes me. The dial is a wonderful interplay of different hues and shades. And the bezel is another mindful nod to the idea that different doesn't need to be visually jarring.

A closer look at the bezel reveals a very cool twist on the "Day/Night" bezel divide on the majority of GMT watches. The Pepsi, the Batman, the blah, blah, blah... Kurono Tokyo has a much cooler and elegant solution. One half of the engraved bezel is smooth. The other half has a pattern of 5 lines between 18 and 6 to articulate the evening hours. Like I said, this one's a bit special!

As with previous Kurono Tokyo offerings, the order window will be open for a limited time, one order per customer, and anyone suspected of hoarding (i.e. ordering multiple pieces to flip) will be rigorously rooted out, and their orders canceled - so play by the rules, please!
