40 Years for Hublot

Has it really been that long?  Apparently so, because a press release reached Tempus Fugit HQ this AM regarding Hublot's 40th Anniversary collection.  There are three pieces, but I thought I'd stick to the one that spoke to me -

The case is of titanium and measures 45 mm in diameter, so this is clearly not an "homage" piece. The movement is Caliber Hublot HUB1112 Self-winding movement, featuring 42 hours of power reserve. Had Carlo Crocco stuck with it, this might have been what he'd have designed. The price is not for the feint of heart - $8,300 US for this version.
