OMEGA has done wonderful things with their support of Orbis.
And seeing as it is World Sight Day, it was particularly appropriate, and welcome for OMEGA to announce the Speedmaster 38 mm "Orbis" today -
And I have to say that I love this watch. You will note that the central second hand has the Orbis teddy bear at the end of it!
And the case back bears the image of my favorite bear as well -
And if I had the disposable cash, I would be on the line to my Omega dealer RIGHT NOW to purchase one for myself. It is a great watch, and it is a fantastic cause. And OMEGA is to be commended for their commitment to supporting this very worthy charity.
So thank you very much OMEGA for setting a very real, very positive example to the watch industry on doing good. You probably don't hear it often enough, but it is appreciated!
