Although it has not been officially announced yet, I spoke with my new employer and they have given me the okay to break the news myself here on Tempus Fugit. HAH - Take that TIMEZONE! I SCOOPED YOU!
Which is fitting as this will be the last post on Tempus Fugit.
First and foremost, I want to thank all of the readers, watchmakers and brands who have made Tempus Fugit possible. It has been an incredible ride these past five years and I wouldn't change any of it!
As many of you know, I worked for three years for DOXA in sales, marketing and pr and after a five year hiatus doing the blog and working behind the scenes for several other brands, I have finally been persuaded to jump back in the game full-time by a brand you may be familiar with.
So now the announcement, despite some of the less than flattering things I have said in the past, and my utter lack of tangible qualifications, this morning the folks at LVMH and I came to an agreement, and I will be officially announced as the new CEO of Tag Heuer tomorrow when the markets open in Europe.
