PINION is pleased to announce it’s first watch release for 2014 which will form part of a new collection titled ‘REVIVAL’ focussing on British timepieces featuring rare and historic 20th Century Swiss movements.

The first watch in the series, to be released in Summer 2014, will be a manual wound chronograph featuring the iconic Swiss movement, VALJOUX 7734 and will be limited to 100 pieces.

The VALJOUX 7734, a remarkable manual wound chronograph, was first produced in the 1960s and features twin subsidiary registers (Bi-Compax) a 45 hour power reserve and date functionality at 6H.
The 7734 movements in Pinion’s stock are over forty years old, yet are as new in their original ébauche (kit) form having never been assembled or used. They will be finished, assembled and tested at Pinion’s watchmaking facility, THE MOTION WORKS, by experienced BHI qualified watchmakers , prior to full watch assembly in the UK.
