Could this be the unmet friend?
One of the truly great things about Cartier is that as the present, and dare I say the future keep unfolding, they have never forgotten their past.
This little bijou was brought by Cartier in the 70s. And by today's testosterone fueled watch sizes it is indeed small - 24 robust millimeters in diameter if you include the crown, offset by the 30 mm length.
But what I like most about? It is clearly a Cartier. Like so many things that they have presented, you would recognize the forebears from a thousand miles away.
Hand-wound vintage fun, and the good news is if you missed it the first time around there are a few around in varying states of "crispiness" from amazingly mint, to in need of an horological intervention.
So go grab some fun!
