Omega's new Video Manuals - THANK YOU!

Full disclosure, if you bought a DOXA watch between 2007 - 2011 it is likely that I wrote, or contributed some part to the instruction DVD.  One of the things that I liked about the DOXA concept was that you could see an animated visual on how the various crown positions might work.  But it was limited, and invariably people didn't have the wherewithal to use it, or they simply wanted a printed booklet.  Many is the time that I was requested to print out the entire thing and send the pages by mail to a customer.  As we were a direct company, who often did not get to meet customers face to face to hand them their watches and explain them, we often had calls with "how does this work?"  This was always a great challenge to try and overcome!  And needless to say, we did not have access to the same level of production facilities ; )

So now, in addition to a very impressive website, there are actual VIDEOS to not just explain, but to show!
So now you can go to the Omega website, search by "family" and get a video tutorial on the operation of your Omega watch! I'm a big believe in "don't tell me, show me!" And that is exactly what Omega has provided its customers!

Here's the scoop, straight from Omega -

The 25 video manuals cover 4 families, 8 collections and 13 different calibers and are now available online at OMEGA’s youtube channel. www.youtube.com/omega These videos are ideal for new OMEGA owners and can be accessed from any device from iPhones to tablets.  The videos explain how to set the time, date, adjust the time zone and use the chronograph. In addition, the videos go into detail about special features of particular OMEGA timepieces such as using the bezel, the helium escape valve or the super-luminova dial.
