HISTORIADOR CRONOTIEMPO
The new Cuervo y Sobrinos sporty classic
If there’s a brand with long traditions and a history to tell, it’s certainly Cuervo y Sobrinos. Even in its most innovative creations the trademark never loses sight of its origins and complex personality, an exotic blend of a Cuban past with the latest Swiss watchmaking technology.
With its new Historiador Cronotiempo collection, Cuervo y Sobrinos once again gives new life to one of its most emblematic silhouettes of the 1950s. The Swiss brand with the Latin soul offers a further refinement of this classic in the newest stainless steel chronograph version. The 41-mm diameter case, the double curve of its sapphire crystal, the graphic design of the dial and – above all – its “plunger” stems evoke a rich and complex heritage.
The stainless steel case has a special crown cover engraved with the date of the brand’s founding in 1882. This uniquely designed case encloses an automatic chronograph movement that marks the latest development in the Historiador watch collection.
It is available in two different dial versions: half-matte black or ivory, with a red tachometer scale giving it a sporty touch. The magnified date at 12 gives a 3D effect; the CyS logo is visible on the small second-hand dial at 3.
The central second hand has a unique and innovative design: a red arrow making it easier to see and set the date. The collection comes in a limited edition of 65 pieces per dial version with the number engraved on the flanges.
