Okay, it has been two very, very good days so far with the Chinese Timekeeper! The CTK08 has been a real joy to wear, and has garnered quite a few favorable nods around town.
It is a large watch, to be sure, but it is very wearable. It has been extremely comfortable on the wrist, and not at all "overly large".
The questions started nearly right away - "what watch is that?" "Who makes it?" "How much does it cost?" and the one every watch company rep longs to hear - "Can I try it on?"
Some of the observations of people out in the street have been about some of the things that make the Chinese Timekeeper different - the four bezel screws, the hands, displaying a beautiful pattern, the symbol replacing the number 10 on the dial, the crown at 2 o'clock.
I will be unspooling all of the reasons / details behind these design elements in the coming weeks.
And we are currently + 6 seconds per day after two days.
Stay tuned!
