The first Tempus Fugit 15 day review has begun.
This is a new feature of the Tempus Fugit Blog - the 15 day test. Like most of you, I read a lot of watch reviews. They generally fall into two categories:
1. The professional reviewer - these are often quite technical and contain exhaustive tests designed to confirm or disprove the ratings and specs provided by the watch companies themselves. They are very thorough, well researched, and present a comprehensive if somewhat clinical picture of the watch.
2. The owner reviewer - these are very honest reviews by actual owners. I feature a few guest reviewers here on Tempus Fugit, and they can be quite informative as they come from real owners. They are heart-felt, but occasionally they can be clouded by the feelings of the reviewer - particularly if they purchased the watch with certain expectations that might not have been met.
And then there is the 15 day Tempus Fugit review launching today. The concept is very simple. The company sends a watch that is actually worn for 15 days in normal, everyday conditions - not in a lab, and not reviewed from afar. Every day there is an update. Today we begin.
