Who's Ready to Get Out and See Some Watches?

This guy!

So as we are hopefully about to see the backside of COVID19, I am happy to announce that I will be working with Maryland Watch Works and Isochron Media to launch the first US watch show this year -

Brands planning on attending include Hager, McDowell, Formex, The Oberlin Watch Company, ochs und junior, Stella, Tsao Baltimore and more to come!  Stay tuned as I will be updating the participating brands as we move forward.

You can also follow the build up here -

Looking forward to a safe, sane and fun time after a very, very long winter.

An Autoquartz

From McDowell Time -

Courtesy of McDowell Time

McDowell Time is a fairly new outfit offering something a little different - an autoquartz movement.

I had the opportunity to see these up close and try one on and I have to say that they are pretty neat and offer something a bit different.

The design cues do lean a wee bit towards Shinola, but yet and still it is a good looking watch offered at a more realistic price point.

The current collection is known ad the DELRAY.  It is available in a few different dial color options and offers a lot of watch for the money.

Apologies, the lighting was not great and it was a crowded (read packed) venue.   But as you can see, that is an autoquartz movement.

Overall, I quite liked these.  They are well made, good looking and priced very, very competitively!
