Happy Canada Day (belated) From The 11th Province!

Point of full-disclosure. I am in a "mixed" marriage...

My wife is Canadian.

Owing to this, I think I understand better than most how important Canada has ALWAYS been on the world stage. And apart from that - Canadians are SUPER nice people! So as a resident of the 11th Province, I think we should make an effort to be better neighbors, because if history proves anything else, when we've needed their help, they've always been there for us. Merci, Canada!

So, I was pleased to see this latest offering from Marathon to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Canadian flag.

What If?

We've probably all thought about it - what if we decided to follow our hearts and try something new?

Most of us do not usually have the gumption to put our chips on the table and go all in. Well, Windy City Watch Collector is no ordinary online store, and Chris Hooper is not your typical watch fan with Walter Mitty tendencies.

What started as a business school project back at the University of Chicago has now grown into one of the most trusted resources for military watches in general, and Marathon Watches in particular -

We will be spending some time with Chris in the coming days to talk about the journey from business school to purveyor of all things Marathon.

Stay tuned.

It's Canada Day!

Being married to a Canadian, it is important that you remember the little things - like Canada Day.  So as it is a big day up there, it seemed appropriate to shed a little light on a brand that calls Ontario home - Marathon.

Marathon states that this and other of its watches are assembled in Switzerland.
