A New Bag for Tempus Fugit?

BaselWorld is a vivid reminder for those of us in the 4th and 5th Estate that we tend to carry too much stuff with us ; )

Pretty much every booth visit brings more bags filled with more catalogs and more swag (yes to the latter, please stop printing the former - they just get thrown away).  And many of us make the very great mistake of thinking we need to carry a bunch of stuff with us.  Big bags that we lug around all day and then wonder why we have sore arms and shoulders.  Bags jammed with stuff that we never end up using or needing during the day.  So I have my eyes on this little package for my next bag -

This is the Goldilocks size briefcase - JUST RIGHT!  You can carry either your laptop or iPad, and notebook for jotting, well, notes ; )

And for those of you who (like me) need something to read on the train or tram, the HOLDALL 14" Slimline Briefcase has you covered!

A very clever strap with room to stash your newspaper or other periodical.

Holdall & Co - Get Organized!

So first and foremost, a quick tip of the hat to the Fantastic Mr. Grey Fox for pointing these nifty folios out.  I have, to some extent, lead an "unexamined life".  To this end I am forever schlepping around the Halls of BaselWorld with too much stuff.  A desperate need to carry a full bag over my shoulder jammed with a ton of things I never end up using.

Where has this been all my life?!?

This is from Holdall & Co.  A vintage inspired blast of fresh air from a nice group of people in England making authentic, handmade folios!  Big enough to hold a magazine, your pocket journal, may a pen case.  Not so big that you are tempted to fill it up to the top!

Elegant, simple, and organized - which frankly is how I would really like to be thought of when hobnobbing with the watch cognoscenti!

Available in London Tan as pictured above, or in Chestnut -

Available in 12 inch or 14 inch sizes.  Once again the Grey Fox points the way!
