So after nearly a year of careful consideration, I am pushing the raft away from the shore once again, under a new sail and a new flag -

Henki Time - The Bulldog Edition.

So that all can be clearly understood by you, gentle reader, this is the disclosure part: I do work on a mandate (Consultant in "American") basis for a handful of watch brands. Owing to this, those brands will be identified in ANY content found on Henki Time - The Bulldog Edition.

So about me - an English teacher turned watch company employee turned... well, the guy who writes this stuff.

When I started Tempus Fugit I was pretty confident that it was one of the few watch blogs out there written by someone who had actually worked in the industry. In the nearly 13 years since, that has clearly changed. More and more real veterans from the business have started writing and contributing, and that can only be for the good of the business and the integrity of content in the long run. 

I was lucky enough to work for and learn from Javier P - perhaps the greatest salesman that Tourneau has ever, or will ever have.  From there, on to DOXA Watches. I have since worked for several brands on various projects, and continue to do so. So don't be too surprised if you see me behind the counter at a watch show pouring coffee and shaking hands. 

And now - once again - I write on a freelance basis for a few watch magazines for both their print and online versions, and (as mentioned) work with various watch companies as an independent consultant, and yes - I write this stuff!
