Now, in fairness, the UEFA Champions League and FIFA are two entirely different entities. And the Hublot + FIFA marriage "took a break" last December.

With that said, following hot on the heels of Gianni Infantino's latest episode channeling Sepp Blatter's "entrepreneurial" spirit, the timing of this new watch drop maybe could have been adjusted. But time (and promotional/ commemorative watches) have their own schedule.

The movement is Hublot's HUB 1280 Unico Manufacture. The strap is blue rubber and white calf with printed stars with blue stitching, secured with a titanium deployant buckle
