The LAB Series 1.24

I have known Michiel Holthinrichs for more than a minute. The arc of his eponymous brand has been (at least when viewed at this moment) not 100% easy. With the LAB Series 1.24 - at least for this fan, it is clear that all of the hard work has paid off!

I won't go into a ton of detail - at least not right at this moment. The time for that will come later. What is so impressive about this new release is only fully understood when taken in the context of the preceeding collections. These were all fine watches, each one surpassing the previous iteration. But with the LAB Series 1.24 Holthinrichs has fully emerged as the brand that I always knew it would become. Again, it was always a great brand with great products, but this little time machine will undoubtedly secure the brand and its founder in their rightful place as true independents with a rich, deep narrative.

It goes without saying that I will be going much deeper in the coming days and weeks, but in this particular instance, I think this wonderful watch should do its own talking.
