From Maurice Lacroix -
Some things just catch your eye, and this little bijoux from Maurice Lacroix ticks a lot of boxes in the "sensory stimulation" department.
Little known Henki family factoid for you. Apart from his Mido (now residing with my nieces), the old man also had a Maurice Lacroix. It was gold plated, quartz, roman numerals. He loved that thing. Wore it nearly to death as the strap was just hanging in there when he popped his clogs. It went to me first, but as my sister didn't have anything to remember him by, I thought it might be more appropriate to go to her. A lot of mixed feelings about that watch as it was a gift to him from his second wife who was, and remains, not exactly liked by any of my father's children. It could have been worse, as along with the other family heirlooms it could have been dispatched to the four corners of hillbilly hollow to my stepmother's grasping, inbred relatives, or deposited at a local pawn shop. His wife was always sentimental that way.
But despite his faults, the old man had some good qualities as well, and if he were still around, this is probably the watch I'd pick for him.
