A Watch Fit for a Giant

This is a project currently up on Kickstarter -

The Finn watch is the baby of Richard Dunlop.  The unique hexagonal design takes its inspiration from the Giant's Causeway, which according to our friends at Wikipedia -

The Giant's Causeway is an area of about 40,000 interlocking basalt columns, the result of an ancient volcaniceruption.[1][2] It is also known as Clochán an Aifir or Clochán na bhFomhórach in Irish[3] and tha Giant's Causey in Ulster-Scots.[4]

Shamelessly borrowed from the info web
Now legend holds that this was not the result of natural events, but rather was the engineering endeavor of a giant named Fionn mac Cumhaill (or Finn MacCool) to enable him to cross the water for a throw down with a Scottish giant Benandonner.  At any rate, the hexagonal shape of the basalt columns is the inspiration for the design of the watch case and dial.

Here are the pertinents -

Although challenging to measure owing to the shape, the case weighs in at 41 mm and the movement is Ronda's 713.
