Every year by the end of November, industry experts, specialized journalists, as well as watch enthusiasts get together in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to celebrate the latest watch creations and fine art of watchmaking. It is “A Journey Through Time”, a fabulous week that revolves around exquisite timepieces and results in a grand gala show to award the most popular watches and striking novelties.
Zeitwinkel’s joy of winning the coveted trophy was nearly boundless. Co-founder Prof. Ivica “Maks” Maksimovic: “Receiving the Favourite Men’s Watch Award for the 273° saphir fumé puts our experience with this watch in a nutshell: It is a watch to fall instantly in love.” “We are particularly happy about this award in Malaysia as it pays homage to Khronos Unique Horlogerie, our standing partner here in Kuala Lumpur. We’d like to express our cordial thanks to Luxury Concepts, the Khronos team, and exceptionally to Mister Yin Wai Leong, who received the beautiful prize on our behalf”, adds Peter Nikolaus.
The awarded 273° saphir fumé can be admired in Kuala Lumpur at Khronos Unique Timepieces’ Boutique at Starhill Gallery. Khronos Unique Timepieces has been carrying the Zeitwinkel watch collection since 2011 and presenting the brand’s novelties and highlights in style.
The 273° saphir fumé’s name is due to its dial made from smoked sapphire crystal. The unique watch face reveals an exclusive glance at the so far hidden upper surface of Zeitwinkel’s in-house manufacture movement and distinguishes the design of this exceptional timepiece.
