The Ulysse Anchor Tourbillon

From Ulysse Nardin -

Ulysse Nardin has presented something special with this new offering.  Very often I simply just give you the facts and move on, because if I am honest the PR folks at UN are not long on "warm fuzzies".

But credit where it is due, this is a singularly beautiful tourbillon. The very first thing that hits you (or at least hits me) is the dial.  Described by the folks in the UN marketing department as a "translucent blue enamel", it is beautiful to look at.  The subtle texture of the dial is not a mass produced feature that is ordered from an outside supplier.  The wonderful dial on the Ulysse Anchor Tourbillon is thanks to the artisans (an over-used word these days, but in this instance one that I find completely appropriate) of DonzéCadrans.  For those not familiar, DonzéCadrans specialize in the enameling of watch dials, and they proudly figure in the Ulysse Nardin stable of companies.
