More from Auguste Reymond

It seems the more I "dip my toe" in the Auguste Reymond pond, the more I find that I like!

This is from Auguste Reymond's Magellan collection.  And I have to say that it is pretty swell!
The Magellan Automatic 44.  A lot of companies try to offer two-tone pieces and they tend to look and feel the same.  But this one is a bit special.  Yes, the main case is steel.  The indices and "flourishes" on the dial are rose gold PVD.  In addition, and this is one of the things I am really digging about the new Auguste Reymond collection, the blue portion of the bezel.  Again, rose gold PVD outer and inner being.  It is such a nice, good looking balance.  And without a doubt, not in the main stream - and that is wonderful!

The current renditions of this model utilize either an ETA 2824-2 or a Sellita SW200, but with the squeeze coming from SWATCH, we will see what the "driver" will be in the future.

44 mm in diameter, secured with a leather strap in a croc pattern (but standard leather).

This is a watch not just for now, but one that will stand the test of time.
