Construction
A five-body case, made of iron. The crown, the revolving bezel and the back and movement holder are made of bronze. The dial is constructed of patina rich brass with an applied iron circle. The hour indexes are represented by iron spheres. Brass hands are embellished with luminous oyster powder, bound in resin. A natural rubber strap with Angular Momentum's special locking system. The movement is an historic hand-winding Fontainemelon Caliber FHF 96
Iron treatment
The iron parts have been milled and turned out of solid iron. After the iron parts have been adjusted and finished, they were rusted with a special solution made of vinegar, salt and Hydrogen peroxide. Finally the rust particles were removed by Hydrochloric acid. The structure of the rust layer remained and was preserved by a durable PVD coating.
