Bravo Terry Irby!

Okay, at heart I am still what Tony Bourdain refers to as a "dyed in the wool loyalist".  Tourneau was my first horological kiss, and you never forget that first kiss.

So… when I got forwarded this story… and to be fair I am perhaps not the world's nicest person,  I felt perhaps like the Grinch.  To quote Doctor Seuss -
"And what happened, then? Well, in Whoville they say - that the Grinch's small heart grew three sizes that day."

So a big bravo to Terry Irby of Tourneau!

Everybody talks about doing something - I TALK A LOT ABOUT DOING SOMETHING - but Terry is DOING SOMETHING!
Teaching at-risk kids a skill that will keep them employed FOR LIFE!

I don't want to give it all away, but I think we have a contender for next year's Writing Wrongs Award!

Here is the link to the NBC story - sorry, this is a painfully non-profit blog and I don't think I can afford to "lawyer-up" against NBC ; )
