Happy 10th Anniversary to the Crazy Hours!

Here at Tempus Fugit, we appreciate that time does indeed fly...
To help commemorate the tenth anniversary of the Crazy Hours, Franck Muller offers these special pieces.  Here is the news straight from the source -

Franck Muller is extremely proud to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Crazy Hours, the birthday of its emblematic and emotional complication.

In 2003 the Franck Muller Manufacture introduced a totally innovative approach to the very notion of time. This extraordinary model displays numerals in complete disorder while still keeping perfect time thanks to a jumping hour mechanism. The hour hand jumps to one numeral after the other in the correct order whereas the minutes hand moves in a conventional way.

The Crazy Hours disrupts our perception of time, it sets a new philosophy and proclaims independence from the established order.

The unexpected birth of the Crazy Hours started when Franck was in a magnificent resort in Mauritius. All his vacation was punctuated by rules and Franck Muller thought he hates rules and so he wanted to create a watch that has none... the Crazy Hours was born.

The Crazy Hours 10th anniversary limited edition includes 74 pieces available in both rose gold and white gold. Each of the watches features the number “10” entirely set with diamonds. Uniquely for this model, the numerals are polished which gives an elegant mirror effect.
