Weiss Watch Company

I was very, very happy to learn of a neighbor down in Los Angeles who is rolling up his sleeves and assembling watches by hand.

The Weiss Field watch is the creation of Cameron Weiss.  Cameron's "bona fides" include 2 years at the Nicolas GHayek Watchmaking School followed by stints with two top end watch brands honing his skills.

And now he has started his own venture, the Weiss Watch Company in Los Angeles, California!

And this is the opening salvo -

This is the Weiss Field Watch.  A 41.5 mm stainless steel case with sapphire crystals front and back.  The movement is the hand-winding 6497 comprising 60 Swiss parts.  These varied parts are then assembled by hand in California -

The result is a beautifully finished, hand wound movement.

I hope to have more from the Weiss Watch Company soon, but so far so VERY GOOD!
