So I am now five days into my 15 day review with the GAVOX Curtiss P-40 and this has been a very enjoyable start.
I think the single best aspect of the Curtiss P-40 is the legibility. It is very, very clear and easy to read.
The main dial is composed of the standard 12 hour section, and a 60 minute scale surrounds the outer edge of the main dial.
The indices are large, but very clean and well marked. Often the indices are treated like the "red-headed step-child" of the dial, with very little attention paid, but not so with the Curtiss P-40. Clean, crisp and easy to read.
The same attention has gone into the three sub dials which display the date at the 3 o'clock position, the day at the 9 o'clock position, with the 6 o'clock sub dial indicating seconds. And the hands are wonderfully proportioned - not too big, and not too small. To quote Goldylocks - just right!
So far this has been a wonderfully comfortable watch to wear, and the time keeping has been spot on. No deviations yet.
