So I've really had chronographs on the brain a lot lately, and while doing some maintenance work on Chronometers.org I came across this gem again. Travel can either be a joy, or a hassle, and I think that a lot of that is up to you - do you see the possibility, or only the inconvenience? Or as a friend of mine who I taught English in Japan put it - Are you a traveller, or a tourist?
This is the ALT1-WT World Timer from Bremont. It combines a world-timer with a chronograph function - something you just don't see everyday, but you could certainly put to good use on a regular basis. This is a watch for travellers!

In summer 2012 Bremont launched the wonderfully over-engineered Bremont World Timer, ALT1-WT, on general release and for pilots and travellers all over the world. Design features include a very complex, highly finished dial and a Roto-Click bezel that enables the user to work out the global time zones using the International landing location in all 24 time zones. The watch itself can show UTC or 'Zulu' time through its adjustable 24-hour hand. The Bremont World Timer will be available in three striking dial variations, Blue, Black and White. The Bremont World Timer is certainly one of the more intricate and complicated military watches ever produced.

Modified calibre 13 1/4” BE-54AE automatic chronometer, 25jewels, Glucydur balance, Anachron balance spring, Nivaflex 1 mainspring, 28,800bph, 42 hour power reserve. Bremont moulded and decorated skeletised rotor.

Hour/minute/second, date at 3H, chronograph small counters with seconds, 30 minutes and 12 hours, 24 hour UTC hand and World Time Zone function.
