A Mandarin Duck for Bovet's Pascal Raffy

Courtesy of Bovet
The Hotel des Bergues in Geneva was the site for the annual Christie’s Important Watches

auction. Several rare and historic Bovet watches were among the items to come under the hammer not least of which the "Mandarin Duck" pictured above.  Here's the scoop, straight from Bovet -

Following the auction remotely, Pascal Raffy acquired the two BOVET lots that were the most sought after.
Most notably, a signed BOVET pocket watch initially sold in China in 1835 reached the record price of
CHF 363’000.
