This is something new from Ulysse Nardin - the Caprice Butterfly
353 3.8 carat diamonds surround the white gold case. The dial itself is a work of art - Champlevé Enamel is the medium to display the butterfly. This is a painstaking technique where the metal surface of the dial is "dimpled", creating spaces to deposit the moist powdered enamel. The dial is then fired, and gently finished.
