On September 11t the Kempinski Hotel in Geneva played host to the “Les Pommes du Jardin d’Eden” project. This is the third annual charity event/fundraiser organized by "Les Amis Suisses de l'Université de Haifa" to raise funds for the ongoing breast cancer research work of Dr Dalit Barkan, supported by Haifa University.
The event involved several luxury brands, who all presented original creations inspired by the apple. Eberhard provided a unique interpretation of their woman’s Gilda timepiece.
A tempting white gold confection, paired with a white crocodile strap is further adorned with a white gold snake “winding” its way to take a bite of the rose gold apple. The apple itself is a work of art comprised of rubies, the leaves enameled.
The “Gilda in the Garden of Eden” brought in € 5000 during the auction.
