Put all of the other considerations of a watch aside, and think on this - if anyone is being remotely honest about it, more than the amazing movement, the artisan craftsmanship, the amazing marketing behind it - if a watch doesn't look and feel good on your wrist, you will not wear it. In other words, after everything is said and done, it is the fit and finish of the watch that often work to sway your opinion - pro or con.
And often, a lot can be told by the case back. In this instance I have to say that CTK has hit exactly the right balance. There is engraving and a logo - the Chinese Timekeeper himself! But it is not so deep, or embedded in such a manner as to be a discomfort. It is a nice, smooth laser etched detail. You will also notice the four screw end partners to those of the bezel, emphasizing the continuity of design. The screw heads themselves are nice and flat - resulting in a supremely comfortable fit.

Considering that this is a multi-layer 44 mm case, the fit is wonderfully secure - but again - comfortable. A large part of this is due to the curved shape of the lugs. They bend to accommodate the wrist - a very thoughtful design detail.
Today's time check had us at + 7 seconds.
One more update, then the summary on Saturday - stay tuned!
