As many of you know we have had a very disturbing weekend here in the US. I want to be very clear that this blog is not for political opinions or judgements of others - has never been, never will be.
I started this blog after having been in charge of maintaining a forum for a watch company. It never failed to amaze me how far people would go - how they would say the most terrible things under the "cover" of a Forum, and yet when you met them face to face they would be sweetness itself. It got very, very tiresome, because what I learned is that sometimes we do not seem to have the time or the patience today to genuinely listen to others. It seems that people have lost a sense of being civil, of trying to do the right thing not for a reward, but because it is the right thing to do.
So today I am wearing my father's Mido, to remind myself that we are all capable of better, of being better.
