Okay, it has been over 24 hours now and I can give some initial feedback -
This is the Hanhart Primus Racer's Chronograph. This is a 44 mm watch, with a two-register chronograph function. The movement is, of course, Swiss made and self-winding. My first impressions are very, very positive. To begin with the watch face is extremely easy to read - even this silver dial version with silver applied indices and numbers - quite legible even without my glasses.
The second "first" impression is the comfort of the watch. Apart from my encroaching waist line, I am not a big guy, but the Primus sits very comfortably on the wrist. Although it is a 44 mm watch, the use of "hinged" or "articulated" lugs is truly a well-thought out and very useful design feature. I will cover this in more detail during the following weeks.
So far the time keeping is spot on, and initial chronograph tests are positive.
More to follow, stay tuned!
