Armin Strom announces a new Chairman has been appointed to its Board of Directors -


Michael P. Sarp becomes Chairman of the Board of Directors at Armin Strom AG

Michael P. Sarp (62) is the new Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Swiss watch manufacturer, Armin Strom AG. His previous activities have included managing various exclusive brand-name companies in the luxury goods market.

Sarp is a marketing and sales expert who was born in Oldenburg, Germany. Since 2003, he has been CEO of v. Nordeck International Holding AG to which the Swiss brands Zimmerli textiles and Fritschi alpine touring bindings belong. Prior to this, he was Chairman of the Executive Board at the Swatch Group Germany as well as being CEO of IWC International Watch Co. in Schaffhausen for many years. He laid the vital foundation for the long-term success of the IWC brand and was responsible for their sensational and successful advertising campaign.

Michael Sarp is fascinated by fast cars, fine wines and exclusive timepieces – and the latter are produced in meticulous precision work by Armin Strom AG. The authenticity of the watch manufacturers accords with Michael Sarp's concept of the ideal company.

Serge Michel remains the CEO of Armin Strom. He has been at this post since 2008. The two men and the great team will work hand in hand to continue building the manufacture and this incredible brand.
