WOW!!! Just when I think that I have received all of my Christmas goodies - the nice folks at Porsche Design surprise me yet again! This is the Porsche Design P’6930 Chronograph.
To quote the legendary San Francisco watch legend Francis Zanetti - this watch is the business. It SCREAMS performance car! The P’6930 Chronograph is designed to echo the look and feel of the P’6910 Indicator, and the pushers are modelled on the actual pedals of the Porsche Carrera GT - how COOL is that?!
This is a big, masculine watch - 47 mm of pure Swiss titanium goodness!
And here is a description from the good folks at Porsche Design, because in all honesty, they sum it up much better than yours truly!
Like the P’6910 Indicator, the styling of the P’6930 Chronograph takes its inspiration from design elements of the Porsche Carrera GT. Built between 2005 and 2006, this high-powered sports car is a demonstration of advanced engineering and represents the distilled essence of 60 years of motor racing history. The Porsche Design P’6920 Rattrapante from the Indicator collection is a recipient of the Red Dot Award.
A Valjoux 7750 COSC certified chronometer is the engine driving the P’6930 Chronograph. It is scheduled for release soon, so contact your friendly neighborhood Porsche Design Dealer! In the meantime, please visit the nice folks at Porsche Design - www.porsche-design.com
