Giulliano Mazzuoli Manometro - Time Without Pressure

Manometro

I think sometimes it takes someone with a different perspective to make us truly appreciate something in a whole new light.  Giulliano Mazzuoli's Manometro is perhaps one of the best examples I can think of.
Yes it is a watch, but look at it again...the design is based on a pressure gauge such as those used for tire pressure or checking your blood pressure!  It is at once elegant and functional, serious and whimsical!

The watches are not only designed in Italy, they are crafted there as well utilizing top-notch Swiss materials and technology (read ETA) and marrying them with Italian elegance and passion.  Mr. Mazzuoli, if you are reading this - I WANT ONE!

A bit about the maestro - Mr. Mazzuoli lives and works in Italy and to those who are not members of the watch cognoscenti, he is very well known for his stationery line and some of the most fantastic pens I have laid eyes on.

For me the company slogan really sums it up: Manometro - Time Without Pressure
