Thank you Mr. Hayek
I'd like to share a brief story with you. I was at BaselWorld 2009 walking through the Swatch Group's booths on the way to the DOXA booth. I had just cleared the Omega booth - which was CRAZY busy owing to the release of the new Ploprof. I was "walking with a purpose" as I had an appointment to make. And right down the middle of the hall, there was almost a parting of the waves. People moving from left to right to make room, gasp - and honestly stare. Mr. Hayek (and to be honest, I will always think of, and refer to him as Mr. Hayek) was walking through the hall on his way to lunch with a group (maybe 10 - 15) of folks in tow. I want to be clear - there were no body guards, no entourage - just Mr. Hayek. But to say "just Mr. Hayek" at once explains it. There will not be anyone quite like him again.
